This is a classic Chinese food restaurant. The music is 1970s, the cook/owner comes out of the kitchen to yell at the teenagers doing homework in the corner table, the placemats are the Chinese zodiac calendar, etc. Meanwhile, they are doing a robust takeout business which I thought was very telling. The food is good! We started with egg drop soup and egg rolls. Both were great and very hot. I had Kung Pao shrimp. The spice was perfect, and the shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. My wife had Szechuan Chicken. Again, very good, and the chicken was good quality breast meat. She’s pretty sensitive to gristle and there was none. The fried rice was half hearted. Total with my wife drinking a beer and me a Diet Coke was $33 which I thought was reasonable. If you are in the mood for classic Chinese food, this place will not disappoint!
